Invitation

Iridescent swirling blues
circling down to an ocean's
invitation. 
Swim out,
turn,
look back
at steep, tree-clad coastline
with soaring towers flying
from azure-roofed villages
etched in turmeric stone
against dark pines
below a brilliant sky.
